They are seeking a motivated and experienced Accounting Assistant to join their small, friendly team in Mechelen.

Accounting Assistant – The Role
Your main tasks will include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing financial reports such as aging and cash flow reports.
- Preparing monthly VAT returns
- Processing and verifying incoming and outgoing invoices and transactions.
- Executing payments to vendors
- Creating and forwarding invoices to clients, liaising with the sales team for credit control
- Supporting the Finance Manager during audits, during one-off projects

Accounting Assistant – Job Requirements
- A degree in accounting or in a relevant field
- A first relevant experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong financial and analytical skills..
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
