You are part of the IT Data & AI Team and play a key role in shaping, implementing, and enhancing our Data Lake using Azure Databricks ~ Establish connections to diverse systems via APIs , ODBC , Event Hubs , and sFTP protocols. ~ Design and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks ~ Medallion Architecture : Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using formats like Delta , Parquet , and JSON for data transformation. ~ Data Modeling : Develop and optimize data models using star schema and slowly changing dimensions for analytics and operations. ~ Data Governance : Ensure robust data security with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Unity Catalog . ~ Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, IT team, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. Data Engineer you’ll collaborate with our partners and BME, our parent company, and play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation. Experience : At least 5+ years as an Azure Data Engineer. ~ Proficiency with Azure Data Factory , Databricks and Azure Storage . ~ Strong skills in SQL , Python , and data modeling techniques. ~ Familiarity with data formats like Parquet and JSON. ~ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. ~ Azure Data Engineer Associate ~ Language Skills : Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory. French is a plus. ~ Enthusiasm for technology and data-driven innovation . A challenging and varied full-time position with the necessary independence and responsibility.
