For one of our long-term engagements with the European Commission, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support large-scale eGovernment and digital transformation initiatives.
You will contribute to projects that help EU Member States design and implement structural and administrative reforms, notably in the context of digital public administration and reform programmes.

Your responsibilitiesAs a Business Analyst, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of digital transformation and technical support projects, including:
Supporting the design and implementation of ICT-driven projects in the public sector
Gathering, analysing and documenting business, functional and technical requirements
Contributing to business process analysis and redesign for large administrations
Assisting with cost estimation, planning, timelines and resource needs
Preparing administrative, financial and monitoring documentation
Drafting briefings, reports, background notes and speaking points for meetings and steering committees
Participating in and coordinating working groups, progress meetings and project events
Tracking project activities and producing clear, structured status reports
Collaborating closely with policy officers, project managers, business analysts and technical stakeholders
You are a structured and analytical professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business, policy and technology.
Required qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent – EQF Level 6)
Solid experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Good knowledge of project management and delivery in complex environments
Strong experience in business analysis methods and modelling techniques
(e.g. use cases, process models, data models)
Excellent written and spoken English, with strong drafting skills
Technical & functional skills
Experience with digital transformation in public administrations
Familiarity with project management methodologies (PM2, Agile)
Knowledge of collaboration and tracking tools such as SharePoint and Jira
Ability to prepare and deliver clear business and technical presentations
Soft skills
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
High level of discretion and integrity, handling sensitive and confidential information
Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills and team spirit
Certifications (nice to have)
PM2, PMP or PRINCE2
ITIL
