Senior Business Controller

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Business Controller to drive financial performance and provide strategic support across its European business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business controlling activities, ensuring accurate financial analysis and reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyse financial and operational data across multiple countries to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports to monitor business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Drive cross-functional projects to ensure alignment, timely delivery of results, and integration of financial insights into business planning.
• Support financial modelling and business case development for new initiatives and investments.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Finance, or related field
• 5 to 7 years of experience in business controlling or financial analysis, ideally in pharma or life sciences
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Power BI and ERP systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluent in English (must), French and Dutch
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work onsite in Brussels
