The ideal consultant will have strong expertise in the Financial (FI) module, with excellent knowledge of end-to-end finance processes and integration with other SAP modules.br /br /br / br /br /br /The consultant will be responsible for taking over the project in its realization phase, analyzing the existing design, managing ongoing developments, and ensuring the delivery of a solid and integrated financial solution.br /br /br / br /br /br / Key Responsibilitiesbr /br /br /br /Take ownership of the FI stream during the realization phase of the projectbr /br /Analyze and validate existing solution design, propose improvements if neededbr /br /Lead configuration, development follow-up, and functional testing of SAP FI componentsbr /br /Collaborate with other functional teams (MM, SD, PP) for cross-module integrationbr /br /Draft clear and detailed functional and technical specificationsbr /br /Ensure smooth handover to support teams and participate in user training when requiredbr /br /Support monthly and yearly financial closing processesbr /br /Collaborate with stakeholders to align on financial reporting and consolidation needsbr /br /br /br /✅ Required Expertisebr /br /br / br /br /br /SAP FI Core Areas (strong hands-on experience):br /br /br /br /Accounts Payable (AP) including VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) tools like OnBasebr /br /Accounts Receivable (AR)br /br /General Ledger (GL) and Asset Managementbr /br /Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processes in US context + payment run integrationbr /br /Credit Managementbr /br /WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) Managementbr /br /Financial Consolidation and embedded reporting via CDS views (Embedded Analytics)br /br /Monthly yearly closingsbr /br /br /br /Technical Project-related Skills:br /br /br /br /Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of RISE with SAP environmentsbr /br /Experience writing technical specificationsbr /br /Good understanding of CO (Controlling) is a plusbr /br /Excellent knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP modulesbr /br /Ability to quickly ramp up on ongoing projects and adapt to existing project structurebr /br /Strong communication and coordination skills with key business stakeholdersbr /br /br /br /➕ Optional Assetsbr /br /br /br /Experience with Fiori apps and financial dashboardsbr /br /Knowledge of authorization concepts in RISEbr /br /Familiarity with agile or hybrid project methodologiesbr /br /Prior experience in international or multi-company rolloutsbr /br /br /br / Practical Informationbr /br /br /br /Project phase: Realization - GO live January 2026br /br /Onboarding: Immediate availability preferredbr /
