Application Developer

We are looking for an Application Developer to strengthen a team responsible for a variety of applications used in financial operations, investment management, and back‑office processing.

You will contribute to both project delivery and daily operational activities, working closely with technical experts, functional analysts, and external vendors. A strong interest in applications used in treasury, fund administration or portfolio management is a real advantage.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work on a broad range of integration and development activities:

• Configure and implement specialised software packages supporting financial workflows.
• Build, extend and maintain data interfaces (file loads, extracts, messaging systems, secure transfers).
• Work with integration technologies such as MFT, MQ and ESB‑based architectures.
• Perform unit tests and contribute to quality assurance within the team.
• Provide support on applications running across Windows, Linux and cloud environments.
• Contribute to improvements, automation and stability of the application landscape.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe team ceremonies and collaborate with colleagues in different technical domains.

Technical Environment

You’ll be working with a diverse set of technologies and tools, including:

• Operating Systems: Windows Server (basic admin), Linux (KSH/Bash)
• Scripting: PowerShell
• Data & Integration Formats: HTML, XML, XSLT
• Databases: Oracle, MS SQL
• Mainframe: Basic Z/OS knowledge
• Planning Tools: TWS or equivalent schedulers
• Messaging & File Transfer: IBM WebSphere MQ (basic), MFT tools
• Networking Concepts: firewall, proxy, DNS, HTTPS
• Cloud & DevOps: Azure DevOps, Azure Portal (basic)
• Development: Spring Boot, API integrations
• Testing Tools: Postman or similar
• IDE: IntelliJ or equivalent
