Overview

As a Project Manager Consultant, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and overall management of assigned projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Monitoring

  • Develop detailed project plans by identifying key deliverables, deadlines, and resources.
  • Monitor and regularly update project progress and budgets.
  • Identify potential risks and implement plans to mitigate them.

Team Management

  • Guide and motivate project team members.
  • Assign tasks and coordinate individual progress.
  • Facilitate communication within the team and resolve conflicts if necessary.

Communication and Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives.
  • Communicate regularly on progress, potential issues, and solutions.
  • Ensure effective coordination between the various teams and departments involved in the project.

Quality Control

  • Implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with defined standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of project objectives.

Resource Management

  • Optimize the use of available resources, including staff, time, and budget.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure that necessary adjustments are made.

Required Qualifications

Technical skills

  • Understanding of agile and scrum methodologies. Experience in a consulting firm or in a project management / business process analysis role.

Consulting Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to understand client requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and presenting recommendations to diverse audiences.

Languages skills

  • Fluent in Dutch or French with a very good knowledge of English.

Academic background

  • Master in Finance / Business Management / Commercial Sciences or a related field. Certifications in related domains such as Project Management is a strong plus.
