You will join the Televic bid team , responsible for answering our international customers’ project requests with high-quality technical and commercial offers, thereby overseeing the entire process from the initial contact to signing of the contract.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Belgian and North American team of bid managers, supported by a Backoffice position.
• Ensure the team is motivated and enabled to timely deliver high quality proposals to our customers.
• Coach the team to resolve challenges faced during the bids.
• Lead by example, participating more closely in bids that require particular attention.
• Become a trusted person externally towards our customers, and internally towards the various stakeholders in the company.
• Drive improvement projects to further improve and optimize our global bidding process, in collaboration with the head of bid management for the DACH market.
• Ensure bid, sales and management have a clear overview of the active opportunities so decisions over priority and strategic approach can be taken.

How you can add value to our team

• You hold a Master’s degree in engineering with a focus on software or electronics (or have equivalent experience).
• You can demonstrate relevant professional experience, e.g., as a bid manager, as a software or hardware engineer, or project manager within a technical industry. Experience in leading a team is a plus.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – help you engage with different teams and customers effectively.
• You know how to manage complexity, set priorities and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and any additional languages are a plus.
• You are willing to travel up to 15% of your time.
