Solutions Architect

Description:

The consultant will support the client in designing, implementing, and operationalizing secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud solutions. The role spans architecture, infrastructure, operations, and cloud strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and validate end-to-end AWS architectures aligned with enterprise requirements
• Define cloud standards, patterns, guardrails, and best practices
• Provide hands-on solution design and architecture reviews
• Guide teams on IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), GitOps, automation & CI/CD
• Collaborate with Infra, Ops, DevOps, Networking & Security teams
• Strengthen operational maturity (HA, resilience, monitoring, DR, cost control)
• Support incident resolution, RCA, performance tuning, runbooks & dashboards
• Drive cloud-native adoption: serverless, event-driven, containers, managed services

Required Experience & Skills

• 8–10+ years in architecture / infrastructure / cloud engineering
• 3–5+ years in AWS solution architecture (enterprise scale)
• Strong expertise in cloud networking, security, operations
• Hands-on with Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, automation & containers
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, SSM…)
• Solid understanding of DevOps & SRE principles
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Languages: English + Dutch or French (business level)
• AWS certifications are a plus
