Business Intelligence Expert

Your tasks

• Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses);
• Designing ETL processes;
• Design and development of reporting applications;
• Design, develop, and deploy JasperReports (including iReport/Jaspersoft Studio) for operational and analytical reporting needs;
• Build and maintain custom report templates, dashboards, and visualizations;
• Integrate JasperReports into Java-based applications for seamless data delivery;
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support reporting;
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports, ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability;
• Support data migration, ETL processes, and data validation to ensure high-quality reporting datasets.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Excellent experience in BI/reporting development;
• Proven experience with JasperReports (including Jaspersoft Studio or iReport Designer);
• Excellent knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse.;
• Excellent knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools;
• Excellent knowledge of modelling tools;
• Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools;
• Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design and architecture;
• Good Knowledge of Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks is a plus);
• Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design and architecture
• Knowledge of non-relational database technologies;
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) for query optimization and report generation;
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration workflows;
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices;
• Excellent command of the English language.
