We are Europe’s leading pooling company for plastic load carriers. Our service is to bring clean plastic returnable assets (pallets/foldable large containers/foldable crates) to our customers who send these assets all over Europe to their end customers. After every trip, these load carriers are being collected by us and brought to one of our European service centers where they are being prepared for a next trip. We manage hundreds of thousands of load carriers between more than 5,000 locations, mainly food related companies. Our Pan-European pooling service offers our B2B customers a sustainable and efficient solution throughout their whole supply chain.

To strengthen our Finance team at our local office in Schelle, Belgium, we are currently recruiting a motivated Accounts Receivable Administrator.

Position Purpose

As an AR Administrator, you play a vital role in managing customer accounts and ensuring accurate and timely billing. You handle customer inquiries, track overdue invoices, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently. By maintaining accurate records and contributing to process improvements, you help drive efficiency and support the Finance department’s success.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure that payments are correctly applied
• Tracking overdue invoices and following up on them
• Sending out invoices and uploading them in the customer portals
• Work closely with the sales team and other internal stakeholders to address customer concerns and ensure that issues are resolved promptly
• Maintaining customer accounts
• Distribute monthly statements to customers to keep them informed of their outstanding balances
• Actively contribute to improvement projects and other initiatives to increase efficiency within the Finance department
• In this role you will report to the Finance Manager.

Skills

• You are fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of any other language is considered a plus.
• You have an eye for accuracy and know how to set priorities.
• You can work under pressure and can work in a structured manner.
• You have strong administrative and analytical skills.
• You know your way around MS Office. On-the-job training will be provided for our internal software.
• Your communication skills enable you to efficiently build productive and professional relationships.
• You are an enthusiastic team player and will bring a positive attitude to the entire Tosca team.

Experience

• At least 1 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
