What We Offer
Your mission
The Core & Fuel Studies Group, part of the Nuclear Processes Competence Centre, is a multidisciplinary team covering all activities related to nuclear fuel and dismantling preparation.
We handle the fuel cycle, core design, safety evaluations and operational support for the Belgian nuclear reactors.
Our experts also perform criticality, shielding and activation calculations for spent fuel and waste characterization ahead of dismantling activities.
The group consists of three sub-teams covering fuel cycle studies, neutronic analyses, and cross‑functional core multiphysics methods and support.
Your Key Responsibilities
The team is currently looking for a Design Engineer within the Neutronic studies & Tools sub-group, you will be in charge of various neutron studies and support the development of different in-house tools.
