Senior Azure Cloud Architect

We are currently seeking a senior Senior Azure Cloud Architect to design and evolve cloud-native enterprise applications, define scalable architectures and guide the development of mission-critical digital platforms for a prestigious European Institution in Brussels. 🔍🇪🇺

🖥️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design cloud-native architectures and application components using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, APIs, integration services);
• Define and document solution architecture, development guidelines and cloud patterns ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security practices;
• Design and development of .NET-based solutions, including backend APIs, workflow/process engines and cloud-native components;
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and development teams transforming functional needs into technical specifications;
• Oversee implementation quality by guiding developers, validating designs, participating in code/architecture reviews and supporting integration/testing/deployment activities.

📝 REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong expertise with C# / .NET (Core or Framework) for enterprise application development and API design;
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines);
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, Git and automated build/release pipelines;
• Good understanding of SQL Server, Azure SQL or Cosmos DB;
• Experience with REST/SOAP services, integration patterns and large-scale cloud applications;
• University degree in Computer Science or relevant fields;
• Fluency in English (C1) and French (preferred);
• Ability to work in multicultural and international settings.

This is a hybrid role , requiring on-site presence at the Brussels office 1-2 days per week. 📍
