We collaborate closely with European Union public institutions and agencies, helping skilled professionals navigate and grow in their international careers. We are currently seeking a senior Integration & Cloud Architect to design the integration of complex information systems, define cloud-native architectures and guide the implementation of microservice-based/event-driven solutions, contributing to large-scale digital solutions for a prestigious European Institution in Brussels. 🔍🇪🇺 🖥️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design integration and cloud-native architectures for large-scale enterprise systems (microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns); Define and document architecture blueprints and integration patterns, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and security practices; Act as technical interface between business/product owners and development teams, translating needs into implementable technical designs; Review and evolve existing systems (CRIS/OPSYS or equivalents) for migration to cloud environments and modern integration models; Govern implementation quality by guiding developers, validating designs, participating in technical reviews, and supporting test and deployment phases. 📝 REQUIREMENTS: Strong expertise in Java EE / Spring Boot for microservices and API development; Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven / asynchronous architectures; Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or cloud-native deployment models; Proficiency in REST / SOAP APIs, design and integration testing frameworks; Understandingof OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect or modern web-security practices; University degree in Computer Science or relevant fields; Fluencyin English (C1); Abilityto work in multicultural and international settings.
