We are looking for a Head of Operational and Supply Excellence who is visionary, collaborative, and impact-driven to join our Patient Supply – Internal Manufacturing – Excellence and Asian Sites team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.
About The Role
You will lead transformative initiatives that elevate manufacturing and supply chain performance across UCB's internal sites. You're going to shape the future of operational excellence, ensuring resilience, agility, and alignment with UCB's long-term patient supply strategy.

Who You Will Work With
You will collaborate with site leaders, supply chain experts, and operational excellence professionals across UCB's global network. You're going to co-create with stakeholders from digital, compliance, PMO, and risk management to drive excellence and innovation.

What You Will Do

• You will define and implement an excellence vision for Internal Manufacturing.
• You will develop a strategic roadmap over 3 to 5 years to harmonize practices and boost performance in alignment with UCB's global strategic goals.
• You will lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving operational performance, optimizing supply chain and costs and enhancing safety.
• You will deploy processes, tools, and transversal capabilities, including digital capabilities.
• You will collaborate with internal plants and laboratories to ensure coherence and efficiency.
• Demonstrate hands-on leadership and maintain a strong on-the-ground presence to ensure alignment and engagement across teams.
• You will manage high-impact projects in collaboration with site OE and supply teams.
• You will lead governance setup and execution with internal manufacturing partners.

Interested?
For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• Master's degree in a relevant field (engineering, supply chain, operations).
• Certification in APICS, Lean, or Six Sigma is highly valued.
• Experience in industrial transformation and operational excellence.
• Proven ability to manage strategic and cross-functional projects.
• Strong leadership and influence in complex environments.
• Strategic vision and change management skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional proficiency in French and English.
