We are looking for a versatile Statistics Assistant to join our dynamic team, supporting sector groups and internal stakeholders with data collection, analysis, and reporting. Your mission: Data Processing Collect and consolidate statistical data from sector group members in compliance with EU competition laws and statistical secrecy Ensure accuracy and consistency of individual and consolidated datasets Maintain strict confidentiality while delivering timely, legally compliant outputs Communication Present statistical reports at sector group meetings and respond to members' questions Introduce the services of the Statistics department and propose solutions to issues (deadlines, guidelines, balances, etc.) Service to Internal and External Clients Handle requests from internal teams and member companies, prioritizing tasks effectively Investigate queries or discrepancies in data Follow up on sector group meetings and extract trade data from Eurostat when required Description du profil Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar statistical or data management role Excellent Excel skills (practical test required as part of the recruitment process) Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (advantageous) Experience in an international environment or industry association is a plus Strong project management skills; able to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks Team player with the ability to work independently and objectively in a multicultural setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional EU languages are a plus Highly detail-oriented, precise, and rigorous Description offre Full-time permanent contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of part-time if desired Dynamic, people-oriented, and international work environment at the centre of EU affairs Positive attitude toward stress management and work–life balance Exciting and challenging topics in data and policy Opportunities for professional development (training, coaching, mentorship) Salary up to €4,200/month
