VASS is actively looking for a Business Analyst to work for our client, the European Commission from Belgium.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

• Gathering Business requirements.

• Analysis of Business requirements.

• Documentation of Business requirements.

• Business model analysis.

• Business process analysis.

• Business processes modelling

• Functional requirements and business cases analysis.

• Functional testing of the analysed functionalities once they are implemented.

• Risk analysis.

• Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans.

• Interaction with other business analysts, business owners, customer, users, project leaders and the developers

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• Very good knowledge of business analysis

• Very good knowledge of requirements gathering

• Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.).

• Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value

• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g.Agile).

• Knowledge of tracking tools (e.g, Jira)

• Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis.

• Strong capacity to give high-level presentations.

• Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.

• Ability to apply high quality standards.

• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator.

• Ability to work individually as well as in a team

• Good communication and drafting skills in English. Aptitudes in reporting

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

• At least 9 years of work experience and Master's degree or 13 years of work experience and Bachelor's degree.

• At least 5 years of expertise in Business Analysis
