Exchange Expert


Main tasks:

· Day to day management of the Exchange infrastructure (On-Prem/Hybrid).

· Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert and technical point of responsibility for Email (MS Exchange).

· Lead the improvement of all related service components.

· Commit to delivering the objectives for project activities that were assigned during the PI Planning.

· Maintain system documentation. Support procedures and rota/cover arrangements with actively managed preventative upgrade cycles.

· Develop your capability as the Subject Matter Expert to configure and maintain the On Prem/Online Exchange service from a service administration perspective including configuration, improvement and scheduled maintenance.

· Carry out a programme of daily/weekly/monthly checks and develop approaches to improve, streamline and automate the health status of the environment.

· Considerable experience of the design, implementation, administration and maintenance of MS Exchange and Microsoft 365.


Required qualifications:

· Experience of relevant administration including Configuration, SMTP Mail Routing, MX Records, Content Filtering, Quarantine Management, security investigations, Data Subject Access Requests.

· Experience of providing high demand/mission critical systems on a 24x7 basis.

· Knowledge of Service Management disciplines engagement, design, delivery and maintenance lifecycles in a high technology or IT services domain.

· 5+ years experience in Microsoft exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019/Online Server

· Extensive knowledge of exchange migration (From on-prem to on-prem, from on-prem to cloud)

· General understanding of networking (load balancing, firewall…)

· Experience with large Exchange and/or Active Directory multi-tenant deployments

· Advanced Scripting/Powershell experience

· Ability to troubleshoot in complex environments and quickly identify root cause

· Excellent written & verbal skills in English (C1) .

· Excellent written and oral communications skills.

· Good analytical and problem solving skills.

· Solutions oriented mind.

· Team player with strong communication skills.

· Able to quickly assimilate procedures.

· Able to work well under pressure.

· Comfortable in international and multicultural working environment.

Desired qualifications:

· Knowledge of/or experience in ITIL environment.

· Microsoft certifications, including MSCE, etc.

· Previous experience with Mobile Device Management solutions is an asset

· Previous experience with SQL

· Experience with Proofpoint solutions is an asset

· Experience with Active Directory design and implementation

· Knowledge of French is an asset

· Attention to detail

· Good problem-solving skills

· College degree or 5+ years' experience in complex IT environments

· Proven experience with Microsoft Exchange

· Knowledge of Splunk is an asset

· Knowledge of Agile and Safe methodology is an asset

Working Conditions:

· Work shifts of 8 hours covering the time range between 07h00 and 20h00 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility required when overtime is exceptionally needed.


· Possible locations:


- Brussels/Luxemburg

OR

- Another EU County: possibility to work in remote in full time (only from an EU Country) without having to come (in Belgium/ Luxembourg) on a regular basis .
