Logistics Engineer

Job Description

As a Logistics Engineer, you will play a key role in improving and optimizing logistics processes within Volvo’s assembly environment. You will be responsible for monitoring logistics KPIs and identifying inefficiencies in material flows and storage. With your analytical skills and creativity, you will design and implement improvement projects within daily operations. You will work closely with both internal teams and the customer, always striving to find the best solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor logistics KPIs and analyze data to identify bottlenecks;
• Develop improvements for material flows, storage, and layouts;
• Optimize WMS and ensure seamless integration into daily operations;
• Analyze inventory management and lead times for process improvements;
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to achieve strategic goals;
• Design and implement innovative solutions that increase efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics engineering, process optimization, or data analysis;
• Experience with Power BI, WMS systems, and MS Excel;
• Strong analytical skills, proactive, and results-oriented;
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative independently.
