Lead Engineering Planner

About the Company

We have a requirement for a Senior Construction Scheduler for a large-scale data centre construction project in Belgium.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have suitable experience of developing and managing complex project schedules through the construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for development and management of detailed schedules to cover the Construction stage of projects
• Responsibility for development and management of project controls tools
• Critical Path development & analysis
• Lead / Host Interactive Planning Workshops
• Engaging and supporting the project team from early stages
• Providing performance updates / report views for identification of variances and corrective action
• Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same
• Liaising with the project management team with regular schedule performance status reports
• Establishing project schedule resource requirements
• Developing and communicating tools for the target completion of project goals
• Providing valued input to Constructability Reviews
• Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Client
• Establishing project objectives in line with the client and helping to ensure goals & timelines are achieved
• Execution of projects via an established Quality Management system

Qualifications

• At least 6+ years’ experience (Data Centres - Highly desirable / Similar industries)
• Expert in Primavera P6 software
• Experience in scheduling the construction phase of a project
• Sound knowledge of design and construction sequence and logic
• Experience in using and understanding earned value progress required
• Experience in all phases of home office engineering required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Bachelor or Master degree qualified in Construction, Engineering or other allied third level qualification

Required Skills

Expert in Primavera P6 software, experience in scheduling the construction phase of a project, sound knowledge of design and construction sequence and logic.
