Project Manager – Business Central | Food Production – Mechelen

Our food production client based in Mechelen is seeking a skilled Project Manager with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to lead ERP implementation and optimization projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organisation operating in the food sector, driving critical digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing Business Central projects, with specific knowledge of food industry requirements and familiarity with Aptean solutions. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the Business Central migration, helping to support operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability in a fast-paced production environment.

Role:

• Lead end-to-end Business Central implementation and upgrade projects tailored to food production processes
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure project success
• Translate food industry-specific requirements into effective Business Central configurations and workflows
• Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, and resources proactively
• Facilitate workshops, gather detailed business requirements, and provide clear communication across all levels
• Ensure alignment of Aptean integration or related third-party systems within the ERP landscape
• Produce project documentation, status reports, and deliver regular updates to senior management

Requirements:

• 5+ Years as an ERP Project Manager
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects, preferably in food production or manufacturing
• Knowledge of Aptean ERP or related food production software is highly desirable
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French is an advantage
