We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Design and Project Engineer to lead the development of next-generation sporting goods—from concept to market.

🔧 Your Role

As a key player in our Product Development team, you will:

• Lead end-to-end mechanical design of new products and product improvements, with a focus on performance, user experience, and manufacturability.
• Translate user needs and marketing requirements into technical solutions and 3D models using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
• Manage product development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and technical objectives are met.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with industrial design, prototyping, manufacturing, sourcing, and testing teams.
• Validate designs through simulations, rapid prototyping, and lab/field testing.
• Oversee design for manufacturing (DFM) and interface with suppliers—local and international.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes, material selection, and sustainability.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

✅ Your Profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management—ideally in consumer products or sporting goods.
• Strong 3D CAD and mechanical simulation skills.
• Proven track record in leading design projects from concept through to production.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus.
• Passion for sports, innovation, and product performance.
