IT Project & Operations Manager – Brussels (Belgium) – Freelance 12 months+

For a leading insurance client located in Brussels, I am searching for a freelance IT Project & Operations Manager to work on a long-term mission.

This is a hybrid role offering 50% working from home.

Role:

• Define the project objectives and scope in close collaboration with business owners and stakeholders, and lead the initiative through all project phases.
• Develop and manage projects and programs at corporate and group level.
• Coordinate contracting processes with Legal and Procurement, both within group entities and with external partners.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to ensure timely and effective execution.
• Manage scope, quality, budget, and timelines to deliver successful outcomes.

Skills:

• Strong experience as an IT Project Manager, with exposure to a broad range of run and operational activities.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions; solid IT technical affinity.
• Proven ability to build initiatives from a greenfield environment, defining new concepts and operating models from the ground up.
• Broad interest and versatility to address challenges across multiple Business and IT domains, with the flexibility to take on diverse responsibilities.
• You are fluent in English.
