One of our Brussels-based customers is looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join their team on a long-term mission.

🔎 Role Overview

The DevSecOps Engineer will provide operational, security, and quality assurance expertise across a broad range of CI/CD tools and platforms. The role involves user support, troubleshooting, platform configuration, pipeline automation, security integration, and oversight of core services including Harbor, Nexus, SonarQube, Kubernetes, and Keycloak.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

User Support & Troubleshooting

• Main point of contact for CI/CD tooling issues
• Diagnose and resolve problems across: Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Harbor, Nexus, Keycloak, SonarQube
• Ensure stable and efficient CI/CD operations

Platform Configuration & Maintenance

• Configure and maintain GitHub, Nexus, Keycloak, SonarQube
• Manage secure artifact and image registries (Nexus & Harbor)
• Support deployments and platform availability

Pipeline Automation & DevSecOps

• Build, enhance, and migrate pipelines (primarily GitHub Actions)
• Integrate automated quality and security checks: SonarQube, dependency scanning, container scanning
• Embed DevSecOps practices throughout the delivery chain

Automation & Scripting

• Create automation scripts using Python and Bash
• Streamline CI/CD setup, compliance checks, and operational tasks

Governance & Security

• Maintain Keycloak for authentication/authorization
• Apply CI/CD security best practices (secrets mgmt., least privilege, vuln scanning)
• Ensure automated checks for code quality, test coverage, and dependency risks

⭐ Required Skills & Experience

. Proven experience in DevOps or DevSecOps

• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jenkins
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Artifact & image management: Nexus, Harbor
• Quality & security tools: SonarQube, OWASP Dependency Check, Trivy
• Scripting: Python, Bash
• IAM / Authentication: Keycloak, SSO, OIDC
• Strong troubleshooting across the full CI/CD chain
• Nice-to-have: Terraform, Ansible, AWS (EC2, S3, IAM)
