Medior Financial Controller

Ready to own the financial heartbeat of a fast-growing pharmaceutical manufacturer, with a direct line to the CFO and real impact from day one? Are you someone who thrives in an industrial environment where the numbers tell the story of real products, real operations, and real growth? Someone looking for a role where your analyses shape decisions that actually move the business forward?

Then this is the role you've been looking for.

Our client is a pharmaceutical company in Brussels, producing multiple finished products across different dosage forms, both sterile and non-sterile, from a single integrated site. The organisation is in a phase of strong and sustained growth, with genuine structuring challenges ahead. You won't be maintaining a system that's already perfect. You'll be strengthening one that's scaling fast. The culture is collaborative, human and driven by initiative.

Role & responsibilities as Medior Financial Controller

  • Own the monthly financial reporting cycle, budget preparation and periodic reforecasts, and deliver clear variance analyses with actionable recommendations to management and the board.
  • Build and maintain robust KPIs and performance indicators across financial and operational dimensions, ensuring leadership always has reliable, structured visibility.
  • Conduct profitability analyses by activity and product, coordinate with operational departments, and ensure consistency across financial methods and references.
  • Monitor cash flow, analyse capex and investment projects, and contribute to strategic discussions on resource allocation and business development.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting tools and ERP/BI systems, and contribute to governance and internal risk management.

You
report directly to the CFO
and work in close collaboration with the chief accountant. Your work feeds both day-to-day steering and
long-term strategic decisions.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in Economics, Management or equivalent
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in controlling or finance, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Dutch or French

Offer

  • Gross annual salary between €80.000 and €100.000, depending on experience
  • Company car
  • Full benefits package in line with your seniority
  • Direct reporting line to the CFO with real strategic exposure
  • High-impact finance projects in a growing Belgian pharmaceutical company
  • Collaborative, respectful and human work environment
  • Clear evolution path toward a managerial role within the finance function
