Our client is looking for an Happy Talent Engineer to integrate, as a product owner, a team of 5 developers, and a scrum master.
As part of the company, you will take full responsibility for the product definition within the backend Team. You will also lead strategic projects to make the product fit the market and guarantee its stability/scalability.

As Product Owner of the Backend team, your responsibilities include :

Manage priorities in the backend team, through backlog management.
Reinforce the Scrum methodology
Guarantee quality measures are followed by the team
Report changes and important decisions to the head of development and other members of the staff if necessary
Take the lead and manage strategic projects for our Marketplace
Guide people in the use of this product, by managing webinars.
Define plannings and roadmaps for all projects

The job is a key position in the company, with a lot of interactions with technical users of our API.
Key relationships :

Head of development
Development team (for understanding projects in which the backend team will be involved )
Sales director (in charge of strategic/business/non-technical questions about the marketplace)
Customer Success Team
CEO for key projects

What is expected of you :

Collaborate with stakeholders and the backend Team
Maintain a good working environment
Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the Backend teams.
Represents team in front of stakeholders, clients or users.
Be proactive and provide solutions
Be the technical expert of our API and transfer technologies
Update continuously the documentation
Analyze metrics to understand the customer behavior and product performance
Be "quality-oriented"

Qualifications
Must-Have

You are ambitious and ready for a challenge
Master degree in engineering or similar (5 years study in a high-ranking university)Information

Technology

You have strong problem-solving skills with an awareness of analytical tools
You speak Dutch or French and have a good command of English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will increase your chances with one or more of these criteria:

2+ years' of experience in project management
You are familiar with database technologies (e.g. SQL, no-SQL, Elastic Search) and common development languages (python, C#, JavaScript, Java).
Scrum or Agile experience
Experience with Azure Cloud
Experience in a SAAS company
You are an excellent communicator and team player
