A prestigious global consultancy located in Brussels seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for a significant engagement.

Job Description:

• Design and maintain secure network architecture and progressive evolution
• Configure network security devices including installation, upgrades, patches, and firewall rule coding
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security device failures and application flow issues
• Represent network team in technical meetings and work within multidisciplinary teams
• Create technical documentation including manuals, procedures, and project documentation
• Manage daily firewall, network, and proxy infrastructure operations
• Apply configuration changes, patches, and upgrades
• Review existing configurations and propose improvements
• Organize network segmentation and design secure Internet application services

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years network engineering experience in complex IT environments
• Ability to translate security policies into architectural components and procedures
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Independent project work capability

Technical Requirements:

• Palo Alto PanOS: Data center firewall clusters with IDS/IPS, decryption, sandboxing, dynamic routing protocols (PCNSE certification expected)
• Cisco: In-depth Umbrella knowledge, WIFI, Cisco ISE, IPSec experience
• Algosec: Firewall Analyzer and Fireflow expertise, SNOW integration knowledge
• Automation: Terraform, Gitlab, Ansible experience
• Protocols: IPv4/IPv6, HTTP(S), FTP(S), SMTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, BGP, Syslog, SNMP, LDAP, Radius, HSRP, VRRP
