What will you do as an Outbound Product Manager?
As an Outbound Product Manager you identify what is the growth path and to work out the value proposition of the products “until customer’s agreement” to develop, together with the team, new concepts for the business.
- You report to the marketing manager and follow up on the marketing budget for your region.
- You identify the growth opportunities of its portfolio and summarize them into a strong product strategy and development plan.
- You stay on top of the new European developments, actively searching for innovation.
- You lead the development of new product and the optimization of existing products in the relevant market to reach optimal results in a most efficient and high quality way.
- Together with Sales, Category Manager, New Product Development and local factory teams, you discovers customers’ needs and translate them into development project that can then be proposed to the customer.
- You prepare strong presentations to convince the customers.
- You work closely together with the inbound product manager and remain in the lead until the market launch of a new product.
- You organize the internal sales tastings.
Who are you?
- You have experience in a similar role with intensive customer contacts and a wide responsibility domain involving close cooperation with the local team.
- You have extensive experience in an FMCG environment and you have a passion for food, food tasting and ready-made meals.
- You have a higher education (marketing, business management, economics or related).
- You’re a true PowerPoint pro with solid Microsoft Office skills and are able to turn complex ideas into clear, visually engaging presentations.
- You have a driving license.
- You’re organized and analytical; you have a hands-on and dynamic personality.
- You’re able to work and communicate effectively both with external clients and individuals at all levels of the organization.
- You are fluent in English and Polish. Dutch is an asset.
- You have a work permit for the European Union and live in Belgium.
- Based in our Gent office, you are willing to travel 4 to 5 days per month to the local markets.
