Senior Data Manager

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Manager to join our IT leadership team. This role is pivotal in driving our enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring high-quality, governed, and accessible data across the organization. You will be responsible for setting up and leading initiatives in Master Data Management (MDM), Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Governance, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

Serve as a core member of the IT leadership team, shaping the data vision and strategy.

Act as the End-to-End Data Owner, overseeing the full lifecycle of enterprise data assets.

Champion a data-driven culture across departments, aligning data initiatives with business goals.

Design and implement a scalable MDM framework across key domains (e.g., customer, product, supplier).

Define data standards, taxonomies, and hierarchies to ensure consistency and integrity.

Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment and adoption of MDM practices.

Establish and enforce data governance policies, roles, and responsibilities.

Define and monitor data quality metrics, stewardship processes, and compliance standards.

Implement data cataloging and metadata management tools to enhance data discoverability.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years in data management, with 3+ years in a leadership or strategic role

Proven track record in designing and deploying enterprise MDM solutions

Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Location: Antwerp area - Turnhout area - 2 days onsite required

Languages: Native/Fluent Dutch is mandatory. Good level of English
