Marketing & Communication Coordinator - OPE (M/F)

In order to replace our current marketing coordinator, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in Wavre.

Let’s talk about your role

Under the supervision of the OPE Head of Sales & Marketing, you coordinate marketing activities with the parent company in Japan and with European & African customers.

Key responsibilities :

• You actively participate to the continuous improvement of our sales performance through implementation of marketing tools and methods (brand awareness, merchandising, cross selling, multi-channel distribution, etc.);
• You participate to the definition of our marketing strategy and ensure its implementation for each target group;
• You ensure the coordination and consistency of our communication and branding with the parent company, other regional subsidiaries and our distributors;
• You control that all marketing and communication initiative are aligned with the brand values and guidelines;
• You support the Regional Sales Managers in evaluating and improving their clients' marketing activities efficiency;
• You initiate the tenders for new projects and maintain regular communication with suppliers and communications agencies;
• You monitor budgets and expenses. You will ensure that projects progress smoothly and that there is good communication with the stakeholders;
• You regularly organise meetings and events and write their minutes;
• You set up and monitor performance indicators for marketing operations;
• With the support the product managers you organise the competition survey in terms of product marketing and communications;
• This list may be extended and amended as the department develops.

Your Profile

• You have a Business Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in marketing;
• First experience(s) in similar function (5+ years);
• You're experienced in retail and multi-channel distribution;
• You are autonomous and multitask. You are rigorous, well organized and you are at ease with financial matters;
• You have strong analytical and communication skills. You have strong interpersonal, facilitating and federating skills;
• You are a team player and can work in a multi-cultural environment;
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French;
• You feel comfortable in a mechanical and technical environment;
• You have a very strong feeling of the customer’s needs and behaviours. You’re hands-on, result oriented, keen to serve and satisfy;
• You’re familiar with IT and seasoned in the use of Microsoft 365;
• You are creative and agile in your approach;
• Knowledge of CMS (Drupal, WordPress, Shopify ), PIM and/or DAM are additional valuable assets.

Geographical scope

We encourage and support flexibility by enabling our employees to work from home for 1 or 2 days a week.

Easy reachable by car and public transportation, our office is located in Wavre, 25km south of Brussels.

Our product range includes high-performance chainsaws for limbing, felling, and pruning trees; versatile trimmers and brush-cutters for grass cutting, mowing, and clearing; and powerful blowers for leaf and debris management.
