As a DBA specifically you provide a critical contribution to all installations and services provided by the company. You keep up-to-date, on the top of your field in an ever changing, always improving area of data repositories. You are working together with your colleague DBA, operations and infrastructure IT team to manage and maintain our Oracle database environment. Provide support to users (e.g. developers/devops/IT/OPS using the DB) Ensure database security, proper access rights, encrypt data Troubleshoot all kinds of database problems 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator Data modeling and database design Ensuring data integrity Auto-didact (while we do invest in your growth, and applaud you for following courses, we see that being an auto-didact as part of your nature, is an indispensable asset) Well-organized, structured, and detail-oriented team player. Willingness to travel occasionally for installation and training, mainly in Europe and Africa. Ability to work in a challenging and dynamic environment with ongoing training opportunities.
