Data Warehouse Developer (AWS)

Mission Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to lead the migration of an on-premise data warehouse environment (Oracle + Informatica) to a modern, cloud-based architecture on AWS. This is a senior hands-on role requiring deep AWS expertise, cloud data engineering experience, and strong coordination skills with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end migration and implementation of AWS cloud-based data warehouse solutions (AWS, Snowflake, DBT, AWS Glue).
• Drive the transition of legacy ETL pipelines from on-prem Oracle and Informatica to AWS-native services.
• Develop and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and related AWS services.
• Support the migration of BI data feeds, including (optionally) Qlik, into AWS and integrate with AWS Quicksight.
• Design, build, and maintain cloud data models (star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling).
• Monitor and continuously improve system performance, data quality, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to gather requirements and coordinate project execution.
• Document technical processes, governance, and cloud data warehouse best practices.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables within a multi-partner environment.
• Stay updated on emerging AWS data engineering technologies and methods.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and BI.
• Proven experience migrating on-prem data warehouses to AWS and Snowflake.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS Quicksight, Other relevant cloud-native services
• Hands-on experience with DBT in a cloud environment.
• Strong SQL skills; Python scripting experience is a plus.
• Experience with Qlik data migration is an advantage but not required.
• Strong understanding of modern data modeling concepts.
• Solid project management and stakeholder coordination experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methods and SDLC.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch and German are a plus.
• Experience in the Financial Services or Automotive industry is beneficial.
