Senior Technical Analyst

Job Description

Afarax is seeking an experienced Analyst with Technical Skills to strengthen their team. We need you to translate the non-functional requirements into analysis for small/medium size features related to processes/systems within the subdomain.

You will coordinate small projects, build domain knowledge in banking/insurance operations, products, and services, understand regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the banking/insurance industry.

You will apply Modeling Languages/tools for your analysis, have a solid technical knowledge of Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, DB2, and ideally were a developer in the past and grew towards an analyst role.

You will know about qualitative solutions using different testing techniques, translate requirements into an analysis for small/medium size features and solutions related to processes/systems within the subdomain, cooperate in setting up the test scenarios with test team and end users.

You will write test cases and execute integration testing, suggest/implement a solution in case of incident (software, process, administration) and communicate to stakeholders.

You will maintain domain systems to guarantee 100% availability, keep the systems documentation up to date, design features to a more client-centric or efficient service offering.

You will support and cooperate with the team members and users to be successful as a team, explain the processes, software, and tools in place to end-users, follow and enforce current team processes and tools.

In case of changes, you will analyze the impact, have an influence on team level, give advice to team members and to users.

You will coordinate activities/small projects within the subdomain and with your stakeholders such as distribution of tasks and follow-up of the progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Cobol/JCL/DB2 Technical Knowledge
• Domain experience in customer data management, referential data management, payment accounts, distribution management
