Supply Chain Officer

(Antwerp, BE) Contract Role

Start: ASAP | Full-time (40h/week)

Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and English.

An international maritime services company is seeking an independent and proactive logistics professional to support in-house transport operations in Antwerp.

Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate shipments (road, sea, air) for fleet operations worldwide
• Arrange EU transports and liaise with internal stakeholders, agents, warehouses, forwarders, and customs
• Book transport services and ensure operational follow-up
• Prepare logistics documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs files, dangerous goods where applicable)
• Process purchase orders and obtain quotations from logistics partners

Profile

• Several years of logistics experience (multi-modal transport preferred)
• Knowledge of transport legislation and basic customs regulations
• Accurate, solution-driven, and service-minded
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, sometimes unstructured environment
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (MAXIMO is a plus)
