Business Process Analyst

Role Overview

As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing, modeling and improving end-to-end business processes within complex environments.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency and continuous improvement of process documentation and governance, with a strong focus on BPMN modelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document existing business processes (AS-IS)
• Design and model optimized target processes (TO-BE) using BPMN
• Facilitate process workshops and align stakeholders on process design
• Ensure consistency and quality of process models within the repository
• Identify operational inefficiencies, risks and control gaps
• Translate business requirements into clear functional documentation
• Support implementation, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to process governance and documentation standards
• Work closely with business, IT and compliance teams in regulated environments

Profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3–6 years of experience in Business Process Analysis
• Strong hands-on experience in BPMN process modelling
• Experience in end-to-end process review and mapping
• Ability to facilitate workshops and challenge stakeholders constructively
• Experience with modelling tools such as ARIS, Adonis, Enterprise Architect, Modelio, Visio or similar
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Structured, autonomous and delivery-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
• Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch

Nice to have

• Experience in Financial Services or Insurance
• Exposure to regulated environments
• Knowledge of process governance frameworks
