Duration: 12-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 H/W

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Method Development Specialist to join their analytical R&D team. This is a hands-on, lab-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys developing robust methods, working independently, and driving high-impact results.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, validate, and troubleshoot analytical methods (focus on LCMS, UPLC/HPLC)
• Measure and analyse small molecule compounds in pharmaceutical products
• Use a range of analytical techniques including UV, titration, Karl Fischer and more
• Prepare samples, calibrate instruments, and curate data
• Collaborate with peers and internal customers to deliver results aligned with project goals
• Present progress and technical insights as needed
• Ensure work aligns with regulatory and quality guidelines (ICH Q14, QbD, etc.)

What you bring:

• 5+ years' experience in pharma, ideally in R&D or manufacturing
• MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharma Science or related field
• Expertise in method development, validation and troubleshooting
• Strong experience in LCMS and UPLC/HPLC
• Experience with small molecules
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and analytical lifecycle management
• A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving and data interpretation skills
• Self-starter able to work independently and communicate effectively
